Our Estate Pinot noir is the best example of Shea Vineyard as a whole in a given vintage due to the diversity of vineyard blocks and Pinot noir vines that the Estate is sourced from. This big, enticing Pinot shows off the rich, ripe nature of the 2018 vintage while also displaying more complex flavors of violet, white pepper, black tea and pomegranate that come from a long vintage with perfect harvest time weather. A long finish will keep you reaching for your glass.

This is the block that first inspired us to focus on small lot, single clone selections from our vineyard.  A stunning example of Pommard clone Pinot Noir, Block 23 always provides both beauty and structure.  Pretty floral aromatics draw you in while a balanced and structured palate leads to a long, red fruited finish.

Our blend of the “best barrels” in our cellar, Homer expresses the most intensity and nuance of the lineup.  We held the 2019 Homer in barrel for an extra 6 months in order to give this beautiful wine more time for tannins to soften and the wine to mature.  The result is a version of Homer with particularly expressive aromatics, great mouthfeel, and a long finish.

Aged in a blend of new and neutral French oak for 16 months. Less than 250 cases made.
